Family weekend in an amusement park
I start this top of the best ideas for a weekend with children in France with a selection dedicated to amusement parks.
Impossible to go wrong by choosing to take them to one of the most famous French amusement parks such as Disneyland, Parc Astérix or Puy du Fou. You are sure to have a great time with your family, regardless of their age!
Family weekend at Disneyland
We no longer need to introduce the most famous theme park in France and in the world, Disneyland Paris , there are dozens of rides and attractions , entertainment , parades , shops and restaurants.
Not to mention all the Disney characters and princesses with whom you can take pictures!
To discover the 2 parks , Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park, and above all to avoid wasting time from the start by queuing at the ticket office, I strongly recommend that you book your entrance tickets in advance for the whole family.
1) The hotels located at Disneyland Paris but which it is necessary to book months in advance to have a place:
Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe®: 20 minutes from the park, the hotel offers Pixar-themed rooms.
Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne: A 20-minute walk from the park, this hotel recreates an authentic Wild West village with Toy Story-themed rooms.
Disney’s Newport Bay Club®: located a 15-minute walk from Disney. Here Mickey Mouse decoration takes pride of place and 2 large heated swimming pools (indoor and outdoor).
Disney’s Hotel New York®: 10-minute walk from the entrance to the amusement park, New York-themed decorated hotel with an indoor heated swimming pool and a room and play area for children.

Kyriad Disneyland® Paris which has a carousel, a games room, a Disney store and a mini farm.
Aparthotel Adagio Marne La Vallée which offers studios and apartments for up to 6 people.
B&B Hotel at Disneyland® Paris with indoor playground and spacious rooms
Explorers at Disneyland Paris with heated indoor pool, aquatic playground, indoor playground, video games room and even a 6D cinema. This is my favorite for a family weekend at Disneyland!
Vienna House Dream Castle at Disneyland® Paris with indoor swimming pool, large garden and Spa.
Vienna House Magic Circus at Disneyland® Paris decorated on the theme of the circus, it has an indoor swimming pool, a games room and a large garden with a lake.
Marriott’s Village d’Ile-de-France which offers villas for up to 8 people fully equipped and with private terrace.

Family weekend at Parc Astérix
For a family weekend in an amusement park and close to Paris, I also recommend Parc Astérix (1 hour by car from the capital).
Whether you’ve read the comics or seen the movies and cartoons, everyone knows the adventures of the little Gallic man with the yellow mustaches accompanied by his friend Obélix (who fell into the pot of magic potion when he was little!) and his faithful companion on 4 legs, Idefix.
The park offers nearly 40 attractions dedicated to their universe and shows/entertainment throughout the day.
